These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of BareBones PM (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is free

BareBones PM is provided free of charge. There are no fees, subscriptions, or payment obligations of any kind. We are under no obligation to provide, maintain, or continue the Service, and we may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, without notice and without liability to you.

Your account

You need an account to use the Service, created through Google sign-in or email. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your access secure.

Your data

You keep ownership of the property, tenant, financial, and other data you enter. You grant us permission to store and process that data solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to enter any personal information about tenants or other third parties, and for using the Service in compliance with applicable law.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Do not attempt to break, overload, probe, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Do not use the Service to store other people’s personal information without a lawful basis.

Not professional advice

BareBones PM is a record-keeping tool, not a provider of legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Features such as Schedule E expense categories are provided for convenience only. Verify anything important with a qualified professional. You are solely responsible for your own records and filings.

No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data will never be lost.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BareBones PM will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to zero dollars (US $0).

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, without liability.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above shows when. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
