Hi — I’m the one person behind BareBones PM. I didn’t set out to build a product. I own a few rentals, I was tired of tracking rent and receipts in spreadsheets, and the property management tools out there were either bloated or charged per unit for things I didn’t need. So I built something small for myself, then shared it with a couple of friends who had the same problem.

Then their friends started signing up. Then people I’ve never met. That’s been the best surprise of this whole project — and it also means the hosting, database, storage, and email bills that used to be pocket change keep growing every month. I cover them myself, and I work on it in the evenings and on weekends.

BareBones PM is free to use, with no paid plan and no premium tier — every account gets every feature. If it’s saved you an afternoon at tax season, or you just like that it exists, you can buy me a coffee on Ko-fi. Every bit goes toward keeping the servers on and the work going.

Please read before giving

• A donation is a gift, not a purchase. It does not buy a subscription, a feature, priority support, or any promise of uptime. Your account works exactly the same whether you give or not.
• It’s voluntary and one-off. Give once, or never. Nothing renews.
• It’s not tax-deductible. BareBones PM is not a charity or a nonprofit.
• Ko-fi handles the payment. We never see your card details, and Ko-fi’s and its payment providers’ terms apply to the payment.
• Refunds. Donations are generally non-refundable. If you gave by mistake, reach out through the contact form and we’ll sort it out.
